LOCK SYSTEM OF CIRCULAR KNITTER FOR MANUFACTURE OF HOSIERY HOSI

The invention relates to a lock system of a circular knitting machine for making hosiery fabric, for the actuation of the needles, in which axially movable loop-forming and counterlock parts connected to one another are arranged in each knitting system. The object of the invention is to achieve a possibility of an optimum quiet run of the needle butts in the event of changes in stitch density during high machine speeds. According to the invention, to achieve this object, there is arranged on each counterlock part a pivotable lock part, the arm of which is so supported on an immovable lock part that, in the event of a pronounced reduction in the height of the loop-forming lock part, the pivotable lock part covers the counterlock part.
