Pressure tube protector

The utility model relates to a piezometer tube protective device used in hydraulic engineering applications, and is composed of a casing cover, a casing body, a lock, and a key, wherein the casing cover is positioned on the head of the casing body and has a circular boss which extends into the casing body. A circular groove is cut into the outer wall of the circular boss. The lock is fixed to the outer wall of the casing body on which a lock bolt hole is arranged for the lock bolt to pass through. The lock bolt hole corresponds to the circular groove cut into the casing cover. In contrasting with available designs, the piezometer tube is simple, robust, and water-proof, and features a lock with a double security preventing illegal tampering and in turn protecting the piezometer tube, and can be used in a wide range of applications comprising piezometer tubes, seepage line tubes, and consolidation tubes.
