Zusammenfassung:The utility model relates to a transmission and drive mechanism for a rear wheel of a rear engine of an automotive vehicle. A telescopic transmission shaft 3 is connected with a drive shaft 4 through a universal joint II11, and the drive shaft 4 is supported by a bearing 15. The bearing 15 is inlaid in a bearing seat 12 which is cast into integration with a connecting cast body 6. The end part of the drive shaft 4 is connected with a drive wheel 5. A pivoted fork sleeve 7 which is arranged on the connecting cast body 6 is connected with a main body 9 of a vehicle frame through a pivoted axle pin 8. One end of a shock absorber 10 is connected with the connecting cast body 6, and the other end of the shock absorber 10 is connected with the main body 9 of the vehicle frame. A brake disc 13 is fixed on the drive shaft 4, and is controlled by a brake wheel cylinder 14.
