description A glue pot preventing the surface layer from becoming dry and crusted comprises a pot body (1). The pot body (1) is provided with a water inlet (2), a motor (3) and a control button (7) are connected to the upper portion of the pot body (1), and the control button (7) controls operation of the motor (3). The motor (3) is connected with a stirring shaft (4), the stirring shaft (4) is led into the tank body (1) and connected with a stirring paddle, and the stirring paddle is composed of a blade (5) and floating balls (6) fixed to the two ends of the blade (5). The motor and a frequency converter are used for controlling stirring, the floating ball type blade can float on the glue surface all the time along with increasing of the glue level, the stirring paddle is rotated slowly to keep the glue surface in a dynamic state, and therefore the problem of oxidation and crusting of glue is fundamentally solved, and the cost is greatly lowered.
