Zusammenfassung:	The utility model relates to a novel spring balance which comprises a housing, a draw ring, a spring, a slide block, a hook and a movable label, wherein the upper edge of the housing is provided with graduation lines, the spring and slide block are arranged in the housing, the left end of the spring is connected with the hook, the right end of the spring is connected with the left end of the slide block, and the right end of the slide block is connected with the draw ring via a pull bar. An enclosed annular cavity is formed in the housing, the annular cavity is equipped with water, the movable label is arranged at the horizontal side of the annular cavity, and the top ends of two vertical sides of the annular cavity are respectively provided with non-return valves. The value of the maximal static friction can be directly read from the housing, the direction of the force can be visually determined by observing water flow in the annular cavity, and the novel spring balance is reasonable in structural design and improves the experimental efficiency and accuracy.
