Zusammenfassung:	The utility model provides a device for opening a furnace eye for an arc furnace. The device for opening the furnace eye comprises a drilling rod and cutting edges; and the cutting edges are respectively arranged on the outer peripheral surface of one end of the drilling rod and extend from the drilling rod along an axial direction. Because the cutting edges are arranged on the outer peripheral surface of the drilling rod, damage caused by opening the furnace eye is removed only by replacing the cutting edges without displacing the drilling rod; and in addition, because the cutting edges radially extend to form an 'open' drill without a ventilating hole, the problem that the ventilating hole of a traditional drill is blocked does not exist.
