Zusammenfassung:	The utility model relates to a tensioned self-locking oil level gauge for measuring oil level applicable to an engineering transmission. The tensioned self-locking oil level gauge consists of an oil scale assembly and a dipping tube. The oil scale is provided with a rubber sleeve which is compressed in a length direction and expanded in a radial direction so that the oil scale assembly is locked in the dipping tube; and an air vent is arranged at the periphery of the dipping tube so as to effectively exhaust high-temperature oil gas entering the dipping tube and prevent the oil level gauge from being emerged from an oil tube.
