Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine capable of increasing an oil amount in an oil pan and facilitating mounting of auxiliaries. SOLUTION: The engine has a timing transmission case 21 attached to an end portion of a crankcase and the oil pan attached to a lower part of the crankcase. A lower end 21a of the timing transmission case 21 is extended to a height of a lower end of the crankcase 1. The oil pan is extended to a lower part of the timing transmission case 21 and an upper end of the extension of the oil pan 3 is attached to the lower end of the timing transmission case. The lower part of the timing transmission case 21 is projected laterally beyond a lateral wall 6 of the crankcase 1 as viewed in a direction parallel to a central axis 42 of a crankshaft. An auxiliary mounting seat 22 is formed on the laterally projecting part 21b of the timing transmission case 21. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
