Device and process for removing metal impurity by chromic acid electrolysis

The metal impurity eliminating chronic acid electrolyzing plant is one iron tank with PVC lining and 1-10 ceramic jars of 20-100 L volume inside the tank. Inside each of the ceramic jars, there are cylindrical or tubular cathode plate of stainless steel or iron and connected to copper plate, and anode plate connected to lead plate. The electrolysis has the operation conditions of 10-15 V voltage and 0.5-10 A/sq dm current density, and during electrolysis, chronic radical migrates from the cathode liquid to the anode liquid and ferrochromium is reduced in the cathode into black iron powder.
