Garden surface coverage produced with hickory shell and its producing method

The garden surface covering is produced with hickory shell as main material and through adding nitrogen to regulate C/N ratio to 25-30, adding fermenting bacteria seed via mixing, piling for fermentation of 28-30 days, drying to water content less than 50% and packing. The present invention has high organic matter content and high plant affinity, and using it in covering garden surface can prevent dust from frying, prevent soil from becoming hardened, provide plant with rich potassium and trace elements. What is most important is elimination the pollution of hickory shell. 本发明涉及一种利用山核桃壳制作的园林地表覆盖物及其生产方法。按每百公斤山核桃壳加氮0.39～0.52％，发酵菌种0.5％备料，山核桃壳的含水量在75-80％，加入氮调节碳氮比至25-30∶1，再加入发酵菌种混合搅拌均匀，堆腐28-30天，然后干燥至含水量小于50％，包装成品。本发明工艺简单，成本低廉；山核桃壳有机质含量高，和植物有良好的亲和性，以之作为地表覆盖物可防止尘土飞扬，土壤板结，抑制园林绿地杂草生长，符合环保要求；山核桃壳含有丰富的钾和微量元素，可提供植物生长所需养分，混入土壤后能改善土壤理化性状，长期使用可改良土壤；最重要的是解决了长期困扰山核桃产区的废弃山核桃壳的污染问题。
