Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a method of preparing silver catalyst carrier and aims at overcoming the demerits of high water absorption rate, small bulk density, low selectivity, etc. of preparedsilver catalyst. The present invention adopts the technological scheme including adding fluoride and magnesium compound before roasting, roasting to obtain alpha-alumina powder of sheet crystal configuration, then adding pore-creating agent, adhesive and water, and secondary sintering. The present ivnention may be used in industrial production of silver catalyst carrier.
