Server and communication terminal

PURPOSE: A server and a communication terminal are provided to effectively use multimedia contents including personal information by storing the personal information in an addressing storing, separately from a multimedia file. CONSTITUTION: Multimedia(MM) files used in the communication terminal of a system include not only media data such as a ringback tone but also the personal information including the address information of an MM file transmission source or the like. When a call arrives from the transmission source after the file is transmitted, the MM file is reproduced according to the address information. A server generates the MM file according to instructions from the transmission source and transmits the MM file, to which forwarding-forbidden information has been added, to only the communication terminal of a specific transmission destination designated by transmission destination information from the transmission source. In the communication terminal, the personal information including the address information is separated from the received MM file and stored in an address storing unit(2A), and the MM file from which the personal information was separated is stored as an ringback tone melody file corresponding to the address information in a file library(2F).
