Zusammenfassung:A pre-fused exothermal pouring slag as the protecting one for conticast of carbon-steel slabs is prepared from basic slag (75-85 wt.%) and raw material of exothermal reaction (15-25 wt.%) through mixing the raw materials of basic slag, fusing, quenching in water, grinding to obtain amorphous glass powder, and mixing it with said raw material of oxothermal reaction. Its advantages are smooth reaction, small flame, less fume, quick slag formation and proper basicity (CaO/SiO2=1-1.3) for lower rod cracking index.
