The method comprises the following steps: step 1, obtaining bridge vibration data; 2, making a matched filtering curve according to the bridge cable breakage fault; step 3, carrying out band-pass filtering on the sensor data, wherein high and low cutoff frequencies of the band-pass filtering are obtained by the step 2; step 4, performing matched filtering calculation on the sensor data after band-pass filtering; and step 5, according to an analysis result of matched filtering. According to the invention, on the basis of the characteristic vibration signals of bridge rod piece fracture, the characteristics are utilized to match filtering, so that noise data can be effectively removed, the signal-to-noise ratio is improved, early recognition and early warning of bridge faults are realized, and the bridge operation risk is reduced.
