In situ gelling enema of rifamycin for treatment of baytitis and distal ulcerative colitis

The present disclosure relates to an (in situ gelling) enema containing rifamycin SV and its use in the treatment of pouch, proctitis and/or distal ulcerative colitis, including rectal sigmoid colonitis.
