Data aggregation in hierarchical structure for query execution

Systems and methods for controlling data in a hierarchy receive a data query corresponding to data organized within nodes in the data hierarchy, where the data hierarchy is defined by a plurality of dimensions. Data traversal of the data hierarchy is performed, including summarizing operations between different nodes of different levels of multiple dimensions. An aggregation operation aggregates data values at different levels of nodes.
