Zusammenfassung:The invention discloses a method for preventing combustion of elemental potassium and sodium based on SiO2, which specifically comprises the following steps: in the process of smelting magnesium by a silicothermic method, putting a SiO2 material in a traditional potassium and sodium trapping device or manufacturing a silicon material potassium and sodium trapping device by adopting the SiO2 material, so that SiO2 reacts with the generated elemental potassium and sodium to prevent the combustion of the elemental potassium and sodium. According to the method, a SiO2 material is placed in a traditional potassium-sodium trapping device or a silicon material potassium-sodium trapping device made of the SiO2 material is placed at the potassium-sodium condensation position of a conventional silicothermic magnesium smelting reduction tank, and when elemental potassium and sodium steam obtained through reduction is attached to the trapping device and makes contact with SiO2 to react to form silicate, combustion of ele
