The coil insertion device includes: a device main body; a stator core transport unit that is supported by the apparatus main body unit and transports the plurality of stator cores to a coil insertion position at which coils are inserted into a plurality of slots of the stator cores; and a coil insertion part which is inserted into the plurality of slots of the stator core conveyed to the coil insertion position.
