Zusammenfassung: | The invention belongs to the field of catalytic hydrogenation, and particularly relates to a method for preparing decanol through decanal hydrogenation. The method comprises the following steps: carrying out hydrogenation saturation on capraldehyde under a gas-liquid-solid three-phase condition by adopting a ruthenium catalyst to obtain decanol; the ruthenium catalyst comprises an alumina carrier and ruthenium oxide particles loaded on the alumina carrier; based on the total weight of the ruthenium catalyst, the content of the ruthenium element in the ruthenium catalyst is 0.1-10 wt%, and the content of the alumina carrier is 90-99.9 wt%; wherein the CO (carbon monoxide) chemical adsorption capacity of the ruthenium catalyst is 10 to 100 [mu] mol/g cat., preferably 20 to 60 [mu] mol/g cat.
