Process for preparing monodispersed population of polyaryl ketone or polyaryl thioether ketone particles

The present invention provides a process for preparing a substantially monodispersed population of substantially spherical particles of a polyaryl ketone polymer of selected size or a thio analog of such polymer. A population of such particles can be used, for example, to form porous devices that better control porosity than previously available porous devices.
