Zusammenfassung:The crimping tool facilitates crimping a resilient radially compressible human implantable catheter pump and transfers the crimping pump into a tubular transfer sheath by pulling the heart pump through an elongate tube defining a tapered longitudinal bore. The bore has an internal dimension that tapers along a length of the bore. The large end of the bore is sufficient to receive an uncurled heart pump. The small end of the aperture has a size similar to the internal size of the transfer sheath. The proximal end of the tube has a hub. A proximal end of the bore through the hub is configured to receive a distal end portion of the transfer sheath coaxially with the bore.
