| Zusammenfassung: | A method performed by a gateway node for enhancing a call session between a first user equipment (UE) and a second UE in a communication network is provided. The second UE is associated with a dedicated branch switching (PBX) node. When a call session has been established (304) between the first UE and the second UE via the PBX node and via an Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem, IMS, network, the gateway node receives (305) a request from any of the first UE and the second UE for establishing a data channel to enhance the call session. The gateway node negotiates (306) one or more parameters to be used in the requested data channel between the first UE and the second UE. The gateway node establishes (307) a data channel in accordance with the negotiation to enhance the call session between the first UE and the second UE.
