The invention relates to porous ceramic and a preparation method thereof, an atomizing core and an electronic atomizing device. The porous ceramic is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by mass: 20 to 50 parts of ceramic aggregate, 5 to 35 parts of pore forming agent, 1 to 10 parts of sintering aid, 10 to 45 parts of first base material and 1 to 10 parts of second base material, wherein the first base material comprises a mixture of phosphate and glass powder; the second base material comprises one or more of montmorillonite, vermiculite, expansive rock and perlite.
