Zusammenfassung:	The invention belongs to the technical field of fine chemical engineering, and discloses superfine magnesium hydroxide as well as a preparation method and application thereof. The preparation method of the superfine magnesium hydroxide comprises the following steps: crushing and grinding brucite raw ore to obtain magnesium hydroxide powder; mixing the magnesium hydroxide powder with a grinding aid, and carrying out ball milling to obtain treated magnesium hydroxide powder; mixing the treated magnesium hydroxide powder, a dispersing agent and water to obtain slurry, performing constant-temperature wet grinding, and adding a composite modifier into the obtained product to obtain the superfine magnesium hydroxide.
