Sideband communication management

Systems, devices, and methods related to a controller for managing sideband communications are described. The controller includes: a front end portion; a central controller part; a rear end portion; and a management unit capable of managing a first type of memory device operating according to the first set of timing characteristics and a second type of memory device operating according to the second set of timing characteristics. The controller can provide an additional encryption or decryption layer for sideband communication between a host connected to the controller and the memory device. The front end portion receives sideband communications via an interface and is stored by a cache memory within the central controller portion, the central controller portion further including an auxiliary security component to encrypt the sideband communications. The backend portion provides routing to the memory device, and the management unit applies encryption or decryption to the sideband communication. 描述与用于管理边带通信的控制
