The method comprises the steps that displacement information of all tower legs of a tower and wind speed information and wind direction angle information of wind loads borne by the tower are obtained; inputting the displacement information, the wind speed information and the wind direction angle information into a trained stress prediction model to obtain a predicted stress value for the iron tower; and determining the safety state of the iron tower based on a comparison result between the predicted stress value and a reference stress value.
