The invention discloses a transformer area topology identification method. The method comprises the following steps: collecting electric energy data of an intelligent switch and an intelligent electric meter and meter box installation information of the intelligent electric meter in a power grid; based on the electric energy data of the intelligent switch and the intelligent electric meter and the installation information of the intelligent electric meter in the power grid, matching between the intelligent switch and the intelligent electric meter in the transformer area is carried out according to the Kirchhoff's law, and the topological relation between the intelligent switch and the intelligent electric meter is obtained; and based on the electric energy data of the intelligent switches, matching the intelligent switches in the transformer area according to the Kirchhoff's law to obtain a topological relation between the intelligent switches so as to form a topological graph of the whole transformer area.
