Zusammenfassung:	A colour display is composed of multi-colour displaying tube and bichromatic liquid crystal light valve. Said multi-colour displaying tube is of current sensitive type, voltage senstive type, double-beam shadow mask type, or grid mesh type. Said bichromatic liquid crystal light valve having filter function consists of liquid crystal box and two polarizing plates. Colour displaying can be realizedby changing accelerating current or voltage of electronic beam and the state of light valve, and using different electronic beams to excite correspondent fluorescent powders. Its advantages are high resolution, contract and brightness, good colour purity, low power and cost, and resisting vibration and impact.
