Zusammenfassung:The invention discloses QTL (Quantitative Trait Loci) related to wheat plant height as well as a candidate gene TaPI4KA-4B and application of the QTL. According to the invention, a stable major QTL---QPH/SN-4B-1173 related to plant height is positioned from a 4B chromosome of common wheat, and a candidate gene TaPI4KA-4B capable of coding phosphatidylinositol phosphate 4-kinase is selected from a peak value interval of the stable major QTL---QPH/SN-4B-1173. The TaPI4KA-4B gene is subjected to CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing, and the height of an obtained mutant is obviously reduced compared with that of a wild type plant; the stem length of the homozygous mutant is obviously reduced compared with that of a wild type cell, which proves that the TaPI4KA-4B gene controls the plant height, and an excellent haplotype of the TaPI4KA-4B gene is obtained by using a variety group, which is beneficial to genetic improvement and molecular breeding of wheat plant height characters, and can accelerate screening of dwarf wheat va
