The invention discloses a rice dry field direct seeding powder ridge planting method which comprises the following steps: (1) soaking rice seeds in water for 12-24 hours for later use; (2) uniformly applying a base fertilizer and sowing rice seeds in the dry rice field; (3) performing powder ridge tillage on the rice field by utilizing a powder ridge machine, wherein the tillage depth is more than 25cm; (4) after 3-5 days of powder ridge cultivation, irrigating the rice field until surface soil is moist to promote germination and seedling emergence of the rice seeds, keeping the surface soil moist, and enabling the rice seeds to naturally germinate and stretch seedlings; (5) when the rice seedlings are 12-15 cm high, a herbicide is sprayed to kill weeds; and (6) performing insect prevention, irrigation and harvesting according to a conventional rice field management and harvesting mode.
