The method further includes sliding a replacement rail assembly onto the cut chassis rail portion. The replacement stringer assembly includes a replacement stringer, an inner support portion secured within the replacement stringer, and a bracket at least partially surrounding the replacement stringer and secured to the replacement stringer. The bracket includes one or more fastener through channels.
