Apparatus and method for performing authentication in wireless power transmission system

The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for performing authentication in a wireless power transmission system. Disclosed in the present specification is an authentication method in a wireless power transmission system, comprising the steps of: receiving, from a target device, a first packet including indication information on whether the target device supports an authentication function; if the target device supports the authentication function, sending an authentication request message to the target device; receiving an authentication response message including a certificate for wireless charging from the target device in response to the authentication request message; and confirming authentication of the target device based on the authentication response message. 本发明涉及在无线功率传输系统中执行认证的设备和方法。在本说明书中公开的是无线功率传输系统中的认证方法，包括下述步骤：从目标设备接收包括关于目标设备是否支持认证功能的指示信息的第一分组；以及如果目标设备支持认证功能，则向目标设备发送认证请求消息；响应于认证请求消息，从目标设备接收包括用于无线充电的证书的认证响应消息；以及基于认证响应消息来确认目标设备的认证。
