Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a battery with improved productivity. The present invention is provided with: a step A in which a first separator, a second separator, a positive electrode plate, and a negative electrode plate are wound around a winding core disposed at a first position; a step B in which the winding core is separated from the first position and another winding core different from the winding core is disposed at the first position; a step C in which, in step C, the first separator and the second separator wound around the winding core separated from the first position in step B are cut off at a groove provided in the outer peripheral surface of another winding core disposed at the first position in step B while being overlapped and held on the outer peripheral surface of the other winding core; and a step D in which the first separator and the second separator cut in the step C are wound around the winding core separated from the first position in the step B until t
