Method for manufacturing regenerated polyester granules by using recycled polyester fabric

The method comprises the following steps: providing the recycled polyester fabric; wherein dye and/or coating glue are/is attached to the recycled polyester fabric; performing color removal operation to at least partially remove the dye and/or the coating adhesive attached to the recycled polyester fabric; performing a depolymerization operation comprising: chemically depolymerizing the recovered polyester fabric with a chemical depolymerization solution to form a depolymerization product comprising ethylene terephthalate (BHET) and an oligomer; performing a purification operation so that the purity of the ethylene terephthalate in the depolymerized product is improved; and performing a granulation operation to repolymerize the purified ethylene terephthalate and then form recycled polyester pellets (r-PET).
