Zusammenfassung:Aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communications. In some aspects, a first user equipment (UE) may receive a status indicator of a sidelink channel from a second UE on the sidelink channel. The first UE may thus send a request for additional resources of the sidelink channel to the base station based at least in part on determining that the status indicator of the sidelink channel satisfies the condition. For example, a first UE may determine that a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) supported by a current resource of a sidelink channel is outside of a range of MCSs granted by a base station. In some aspects, the request may include a negative acknowledgement (NACK) signal, and the first UE may also transmit a scheduling request for transmitting a state indicator of the sidelink channel.
