Prediction-based garbage collection

Apparatuses and methods may involve performing prediction-based garbage collection. Performing prediction-based garbage collection may include performing a first instance of garbage collection of a memory device using first circuitry of a controller, and generating a prediction using second circuitry of the controller. The predicted confidence interval may also be generated using the second circuitry of the controller.
