Palladium is uniformly and discretely distributed on the surface of the spherical Al2O3-K2CO3 carrier in the form of two-dimensional nanosheets (Pd2D), the crystal face (111) is selectively exposed, and the mass percent of Pd in the carrier is 3-10%. The prepared catalyst is easy to synthesize, compared with a traditional Pd/C catalyst, the atom utilization rate of Pd is increased through the two-dimensional nanosheet structure of palladium metal, and the catalytic performance of the selective hydrogenation reaction of (2S)-4-dimethylaminomethylene methyl pyroglutamate is remarkably improved.
