The plasma concentration detection method comprises the following steps: emitting encoded high-frequency electromagnetic waves to the plasma air purifier with unknown-concentration plasmas at the same position; the method comprises the following steps: acquiring a transmission electromagnetic wave penetrating between two polar plates of a plasma generator in the plasma air purifier and a reflection electromagnetic wave reflecting between the two polar plates of the plasma generator which does not penetrate through the plasma air purifier, and respectively calculating power corresponding to the transmission electromagnetic wave and the reflection electromagnetic wave; the plasma concentration corresponding to the reflected electromagnetic wave power and the plasma concentration corresponding to the transmitted electromagnetic wave power are calculated according to the function relation between the reflected electromagneti
