Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a method for joining a pin member (1) of a first component (1a) to a second component (2a) having a cavity (2) by means of an adhesive (3) in order to fasten the pin member (1) in a target position extending at least partially into the cavity (2), the bottom surface (20) of the cavity (2) having a distance (D) from the facing end (10) of the pin member (1), the method comprises at least:-positioning (100) a flexible spacer (4) on the bottom surface (20) of the cavity (2), the thickness (40) of the spacer (4) being equal to or exceeding the distance (D) between the bottom surface (20) of the cavity (2) and the facing end (10) of the pin member (1) in the target position,-filling (200) an adhesive (3) into the cavity (2) on the flexible spacer (4),-positioning (300) the pin member (1) to the target position,-applying the adhesive (3) to the flexible spacer (4), and-applying the adhesive (3) to the flexible spacer (4). -curing (400) the adhesive (3) and obtaining a joint between the pin
