The rapid orthoimage generation method comprises the following steps: generating sparse point cloud and a camera pose by using an aerial image; correcting the camera point cloud and the sparse point cloud and obtaining a preliminary mapping graph; partitioning the preliminary mapping graph and finding an original point cloud and an aerial photo corresponding to each block; finding an aerial image most suitable for the block mapping image and carrying out texture mapping; and combining block mapping results to obtain an orthoimage.
