A hybrid circuit breaker (100), a hybrid circuit breaking system and a circuit breaking method. The hybrid circuit breaker (100) comprises: a first mechanical contact (MC1); a semiconductor circuit breaker (MSS) connected to the first mechanical contact (MC1); an energy absorber (AC) connected in parallel to the semiconductor circuit breaker (MSS); a second mechanical contact (MC2) connected to the other end of the semiconductor circuit breaker (MSS); an auxiliary semiconductor circuit breaker (ASS) connected in parallel to the second mechanical contact (MC2); and a controller. Wherein, when a ground fault occurs in the power system, the controller controls the semiconductor circuit breaker (MSS) to open, then controls the second mechanical contact (MC2) to open, and controls the auxiliary semiconductor circuit breaker (ASS) to close before the second mechanical contact (MC2) is open and to open after the second mechanical contact (MC2) is open, the first mechanical contact (MC1) is then controlled to be disc
