Zusammenfassung: | A power conversion device (20, 90, 100) has input-side terminals (CH1, CL1), output-side terminals (CH1, CL1), and switching units (Q5-Q8, Q11), and turns on and off the switching units when power is transmitted from a power storage unit (10) connected to the input-side terminals to a power supply target (11) connected to the output-side terminals. The switching section has a characteristic in which, when a reverse conduction current flows through the switching section, the greater the gate voltage thereof is toward the negative side, the greater the conduction loss generated when the reverse conduction current flows through the switching section. Furthermore, the power conversion device determines whether or not there is a request to increase the amount of heat accompanying the power transmission, and is provided with a control unit (70) that controls the power conversion device when it is determined that there is a request to increase compared to when it is determined that there is no request to increase.
