The invention provides an association management method and device for a paper archive and an electronic archive, and relates to the financial field and the archive management field, and the method comprises the steps: obtaining a scanning copy of a to-be-archived paper archive, and carrying out the recognition, and obtaining a first data flow corresponding to the to-be-archived paper archive; obtaining a second data stream corresponding to the to-be-archived electronic archive sent by the upstream service system; matching the paper archive to be archived and the electronic archive to be archived according to the first data stream and the second data stream; and establishing an association relationship between the to-be-archived paper archive and the to-be-archived electronic archive according to a matching result, and storing the matched to-be-archived paper archive, the to-be-archived electronic archive and the corresponding association relationship.
