The invention relates to a wing type heat insulation grid section for a sintering machine trolley. The wing type heat insulation grid section comprises a grid section body, protective wings and protruding edges. The grid section body is composed of a main beam, an upper suspended beam and a lower suspended beam, and protective wings and protruding edges are arranged on the inner side of a jaw structure formed between the upper suspended beam and the lower suspended beam. The inner side faces of the protruding edges make direct contact with the heat insulation pads on the corresponding trolley beams. Each protection wing is sequentially composed of an upper surrounding section, an inclined section, a vertical section and a lower surrounding section from the upper end to the lower end. The upper surrounding section wraps the outer end of the upper suspended beam and the protruding edges of the corresponding end, the inclined section inclines inwards and downwards, and the lower surrounding section extends to th
