Steam generator tool

The present invention relates to a steam generator tool configured to receive a supply of fuel, oxidant, water, and power/control, thereby combusting the fuel and generating steam from the water. The tool can be used underground or on the ground. The tool includes a tool coupling assembly configured to receive inputs of water, fuel, oxidant, and power/control; a flow diverting assembly coupled to the coupling assembly and directing the input into the tool; and an ignition assembly configured to ignite fuel to produce a flame. The tool also includes a combustion chamber configured to receive a flame; a plurality of water nozzles on the outer surface of the tool are configured to spray water onto the outer surface of the combustion chamber, the water being converted into steam during operation of the tool.
