Palladium-copper-silver-ruthenium alloy

The invention relates to a palladium-copper-silver alloy having palladium as a main component, the palladium-copper-silver alloy having a palladium/copper weight ratio of at least 1.05 and at most 1.6 and a palladium/silver weight ratio of at least 3 and at most 6, and wherein the palladium-copper-silver alloy contains more than 1% by weight and up to 6% by weight of ruthenium, rhodium or ruthenium and rhodium and contains palladium, copper and silver and up to 1% by weight of other metal elements, including impurities, as the remainder.
