Zusammenfassung:Provided is a liquid supply method capable of mixing a plurality of liquids accurately even if a complicated liquid supply control mechanism is not provided.The liquid supply method using an inspection chip (1) comprises: a step for supplying a first liquid from an upstream-side flow passage (4A) to a merging flow passage (7) and wet-spreading the first liquid to a wall surface of the merging flow passage (7) to stop the first liquid in the merging flow passage (7); a step for supplying a second liquid from the upstream-side flow passage (4A) to the merging flow passage (7) to merge the first liquid and the second liquid; and a step for supplying the merged first liquid and second liquid to a merging flow passage (8) to mix the first liquid and the second liquid. 本发明提供一种即使不设置复杂的送液控制机构,也能够将多种液体高精度地混合的送液方法。该送液方法是使用了检测芯片(1)的送液方法,其具备:将第1液体从上游侧流路(4A)送液至合流流路(7),通过使第1液体润湿并扩展于合流流路(7)的壁面,而在合流流路(7)内使第1液体停止的步骤;将第2液体从上游侧流路(4A)送液至合流流路(7),使第1液体以及第2液体合流的步骤;以及将合流了的第1液体以及第2液体送液至混合流路(8),使第1液体以及第2液体混合步骤。
