The preparation method comprises the steps of: firstly, preparing SPI from inorganic elemental sublimed sulfur, pyromellitic dianhydride and melamine through a solid-phase thermal method, dropwise adding a crystalline tin tetrachloride aqueous solution and a thioacetamide aqueous solution into the SPI aqueous solution by adopting an in-situ crystallization growth method, stirring, and carrying out thermal polymerization in a reaction kettle to obtain a tin sulfide quantum dot/sulfur-doped pi-conjugated polyimide composite catalytic material.
