The method comprises the following steps of: S1, enabling monthly VIIRS night light image data, obtained in advance, of a research area to be subjected to data fusion, filtering and fitting processing, and then obtaining annual stable VIIRS night light data; S2, based on the geographic space position feature vector of each pixel point in the research area and the night light intensity attribute value of the annual stable VIIRS data, combining a support vector machine regression model to obtain a night light intensity prediction value and an urban hot spot area; and S3, based on the urban hot spot area, analyzing and acquiring a space-time migration track of the urban hot spot area in combination with a gravity center method.
