The invention discloses a treatment method for rural river channel high-density development, which comprises the following steps: constructing revetments with slopes on two sides of a river channel respectively, and correspondingly arranging a first ecological wetland at a downstream position of an inlet from a branch river channel to a main river channel; wherein the first ecological wetland comprises a drop water area, a sedimentation tank, a surface flow wetland and a shoal which are sequentially arranged along the water flow direction; the surface flow wetland comprises a plurality of unit areas which are sequentially connected, the unit areas are gradually lowered along the water flow direction, and a gravel layer and a soil planting layer are respectively arranged in each unit area from bottom to top; arranging a second ecological wetland on the branch river channel, wherein the second ecological wetland comprises a flocculation tank and a purification tank which are sequentially arranged along the wate
